The bride and groom left for their honeymoon last night after what was a most memorable wedding day. Thanks to the Sopwell House team we all had a wonderful time and have nothing but praise for you all.

I would just like to thank you and your team for making our team so welcome last Sunday.
From Danielle your events lady in the morning, Pavell your porter, the night manager who looked after the tail end of the event, his name I seem to have forgotten, your kitchen team, especially your head chef and overall all of your team including Lucy dealing with all our preliminary enquiries, it was just a pleasure to work with them all.
The wedding went off seamlessly and the clients and guests had a wonderful time and just wanted to thank you all again.
Looking forward to working with you all in the future.

Thank you – we had such an amazing day! We have just about recovered – I think it is going to take a bit of time to get used to ‘normal’ life again with no wedding to plan! It feels quite weird at the moment.
The wedding was perfect – so many people commented on the wonderful venue and delicious food. Everything ran smoothly and we had a lovely, relaxed day without needing to worry about any of the details. Thank you so much for your hard work and support. A thank you to Mandy and Piers as well for all their support. We could not have chosen a better venue for our special day. Thank you as well for organising the private breakfast – it was great to share breakfast with some of our guests.

We’ve been meaning to email you since the weekend but to be honest we’re still recovering from what was an amazing evening! Both Brian and I would like to express our sincerest gratitude to you for all of your help and assistance in planning and the lead up to the day itself. You have been great! Mandy, who you handed over to on the actual evening, was also brilliant.
I must say that although we initially had some reservations about the Indian food, Gopi and his team most definitely pulled it out of the bag. The food was fantastic and everyone we have spoken to has commented on how good the food was (for an Asian reception that is no mean feat!) I would be grateful if you could pass on our thanks to Gopi, Moothy and the rest of his team for all of their efforts, it was very well received.
The staff you had working on the evening were also exceptional, all of our guests commented on how well they were taken care of and for the politeness and friendliness of the waiting staff.
All in all we had an amazing evening and thank you to the Sopwell team for all you did during what was quite a stressful time for us! You really showed your professionalism and we would happily recommend anyone thinking of having a wedding reception to hold it at Sopwell House.

We got back from Thailand last night and trying to adjust :( We had a really lovely time. Just sad that it’s all over.
As for the wedding day we had the best day! Everyone said how good the food was (which it was) and have been sending my mum cards saying thanks! I’d love to do it all over again! Although I remember a lot it does feel like a bit of a dream. And did so on the day actually. We were really lucky with the weather too. The only shame was that we didn’t get to have all the photos we wanted and I didn’t throw my bouquet. I don’t know where the time went. But other than that it couldn’t have been more perfect. So thank you for all your hard work and patience with me! Also thanks for the upgrade. As you can imagine we ran out of time to use the hot tub which was a bit disappointing but we said we’d come back again for our anniversary or something as we love it there anyway.
